Rehabilitation

When children are rescued from exploitative conditions, it is essential to provide them with rehabilitative measures to get back on their feet as only rescue and repatriation done in isolation is not sufficient. This strategy completes the full circle, allowing children as well as their families with a better chance at life.

Interventions: –

  • Family Assistance Program – Facilitating income generation opportunities for family so they can support children
  • Sponsorship Program – Providing educational support to children belonging to specific disadvantaged communities. Providing incentive to repatriated children to sustain in schools in their home towns by cash transfers.
  • Social Protection – Facilitating the connection between the vulnerable families and the social protection schemes is one of the core intervention under rehabilitation to reach out to larger population
